Astronics Corporation, an exhibitor and Silver Partner at FTE APEX Virtual Expo 2021, has announced the launch of new anti-microbial aircraft in-seat power outlet units developed under its ongoing product innovation programme.
The enhanced version of Astronics’ in-seat power outlet units will be developed using the latest technology to create an anti-microbial formulation, and will be available from Q3 2021. This includes the EmPower® system 110VAC, Type A USB, Type C USB and all combination Outlet Units. The company expects that all EmPower system Outlet Units will be produced with the new anti-microbial formulation by early 2022.
